Just as important as the destination for your event, is the venue itself.

Do you need somewhere close to Carlisle railway station, or with easy access from the M6? Perhaps you need a venue surrounded by nothing but grounds to ensure peace and quiet for a training session?

Because here at myplacecumbria, we have a good local knowledge of all the venues listed, we can give you honest detailed advice. Plus, because we are not paid any commission from venues, our recommendations are not biased.

All of the venues listed, are AIM-Cumbria accredited, so you can be sure of a quality event from start to finish.

If you do not require accommodation for your event, you will see that we have plenty of non-residential options too, including an underground attraction, a racecourse, a business centre, a castle and a museum & art gallery.

In addition to the venues shown here and because we have a thorough local knowledge of the area, there are hundreds of little known gems that may be ideal as backdrops or locations for filming and photo shoots.
